I’ve been having trouble with the #CardKingdom CSV upload tool this week, and had to resort to selecting over 100 cards by hand last night. The files were produced using #manabox then edited in Excel. The cards on this list were almost exclusively from #mtgcommander sets. I didn’t have problems with the 400+ card list I uploaded last Saturday, so it seems like a new issue. #mtg #magicthegathering
Ordered some cards from #CardKingdom Friday, order shipped Saturday, today at 2:32am I got an email from them saying “We’ve noticed it’s been a while since your purchase from Card Kingdom, and we just wanted to let you know—we miss you!” I do enjoy being a customer, but these guys are more thirsty than a random hookup I’ve kept in my contacts. #mtg #magicthegathering
I use #CardKingdom to fill in a lot of missing commons. I'm kind of worried that when they receive my orders in fulfillment they might think "Oh, not *this* guy again!"
Always amused when my dealer emails me asking why I haven’t bought anything from them lately. #CardKingdom #magicthegathering
An update to a minor bug I’ve noticed on the #CardKingdom website: the “member since” field on the “My Account/ Profile” page seems to update to the current date whenever you access your account. Previously this field for me said “Before January 2011.” It’s been doing this since at least September 16. Card Kingdom should probably remove the field or at least not make it publicly visible, I can’t see much reason why they need to retain it. #magicthegathering #mtg
I doubt anyone at #CardKingdom will see this, but I recently had four sell orders processed by them, one yesterday and three today. Whenever an order processed, my “Member Since” field on my account updated to today’s date. All my other data including transactions seems intact, though. #magicthegathering #mtg
With #cardkingdom and #TCGPlayer appearing to have recent problems with organized labor, I gotta ask again: When buying #magicthegathering singles online, which website do you use that isn’t TCGPlayer, eBay, or Card Kingdom?

This is chilling.

Outside of the PTO thing, which is really just the company taking advantage of Washington state law, moving locations as a form of union busting is a real scummy move.

Edit: Card Kingdom has issued a response to the Reddit thread here - https://blog.cardkingdom.com/a-statement-from-card-kingdom/

Overall it seems that the majority statements are true, but with major ommissions to make CK look bad.

Yesterday’s #CardKingdom blog post about their impending website redesign really highlighted for me how subtle and non-disruptive their changes have been to me as a customer over the years, and I’ve been shopping with for decades, since the days when their storefront was #BerserkGames in Seattle’s University District—before they moved to Phinney Ridge. #magicthegathering
