The Yellowhead Highway runs through Edmonton, west to Jasper, east to Saskatoon. (Most of Edmonton is south of it, actually, but Grande Prairie, my home town and that of founding Captain Tractor member Chris Wynters, is far to the north.)

This song was originally done by another Edmonton band, Jr. Gone Wild, about which I know relatively little. But this is the version that I have in my collection (and the one on an album with "Yellow" in the name).
