Janne MorenMost #conveyor belt #sushi places stopped circulating plates for you to take. It's now an order-only system where they send the plate you order to your table.
But Hama Sushi has recently added a second narrow touch screen that "circulates" the available items, much the same way as the old conveyor belt did. You can pick and order directly from that screen if you want.
And it works really well. You get inspiration for what to pick next, and it's fun to see the range of stuff scroll by.

Would you know a complete map of the global currents and #thermohaline #conveyor belt?
I have watched quite a few talks on youtube, like from @rahmstorf and such, and have read yet more papers on all sorts of #climate-#ocean-related stuff. And I have seen just as many variations of such a global map, including a KMZ-file for #GoogleEarth - but none of them complete, as becomes clear when comparing one with another.
For me, to get a better grasp of all things, such a complete schematic would be very, very helpful, no, necessary.
