Leggings vs. Running Shorts

Okay so I see most women use running shorts. At first, I didn't understand the need to show off skin but when I was doing long runs (5km is already long for me so pardon me), I understood. As you run for more than 30 mins, your body sweats a lot. The more covered you are, the more you sweat.
