I’m thinking that as a public school district we need to look more seriously at the #Fediverse and possibly start offering these services as a safe place for our staff to start and eventually maybe students as well. I would love to hear anyone’s opinion over here if #K12 school districts should start looking at running their own closed instances of Mastodon, etc. for our constituents.
