#MissKitty knows the #emotional duress of Aaron #Bushnell. I can say it cuz I have born the burden of 126 beautiful humans dying every single day in America outside #homeless abandoned by #policy of the #wealthy just crushing & killing. I've carried the solution and thus the agony for 4 years alone.
‪CODEPINK‬ ‪@‪@codepink.bsky.social‬ : One year ago today, 25 year-old active duty U.S. Airman Aaron #Bushnell lit himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy in #Washington, D.C in protest of Israel’s #genocide in #Gaza.

@realtegan “As of Friday evening, the videos remained on Bushnell’s website and Facebook page, the Coeur D’Alene press reported.”
Wouldn’t that mean that #Bushnell is committing defamation over and over again?

I have updated "Redemptio memoriae," a report which explains the rationale for identifying the Washington, D.C., martyr of 25 February as Lilly #Bushnell (she/her, he/him).

Version 2 is a thoroughgoing revision with more data and somewhat more explanation than version 1 of 13 March, which it supersedes.

I expect to publish a version 3 sometime in April which will include 2 items not in version 2: one which is already public and cleared for disclosure but arrived too late to publish, one which is awaiting clearance for disclosure.

After that, I have no immediate expectations of publishing anything more. Bushnell is dead, and I have no reason to believe she left any additional guidance on how she might have liked to be remembered.

But someone has to remember.

Today on Assigned, I interviewed @epistemophagy about the online life of LillyAnarKitty.

Over the past week I've been slowly persuaded that the trans reading of the death of Aaron Bushnell was, if not definitive, very persuasive.

It may be controversial to publish it. However, I felt it was important to forestall the story being told differently by hostile media and, most importantly, that it's an important story because it's truthful. #trans #news #bushnell

Aaron or LillyAnarKitty? The Complicated Identity of Aaron Bushnell — Assigned

A transgender writer and researcher who looked closely into the online life of a U. S. serviceperson who self-immolated to protest the humanitarian crisis in Gaza thinks we should remember Lilly, not Aaron.
