4/5 Regarding the Daily Mail: one finds their "mercantile" approach to the truth rather exhausting. It is a business of the most monkey-ish sort, driven by motives that are entirely foreign to the essence of the Monarchy. It is, quite frankly, a pongy affair that does little to elevate the national discourse.

Always the UK need only look to the US to see where we’ll be in two years. UK journalists are now doing the “school kids identify as cats” panic. Evidence? None. Not a sausage. Just rumour and innuendo. Obviously though that’s not stopping the far right, their online goons or the ever pliant British press.

The latter are desperate for any story that hits hot button issues even if it has to be sewn from whole cloth.
