@emily_rugburn @Energetic_Nova @pathfinder @autistics The joint statement by #AutismSpeaks with #ASAN against #BrainWormsJr was indeed remarkable. It's been compared to a hypothetical scenario where Bernie Sanders and Marjorie Taylor Greene issue a joint statement on something (anything!). The clear genocidal implications of RFKJr's thinking must have been too much even for #AutismSpeaks. Despite the #filicidal overtones of their philosophy, no doubt most of them would balk at a thinly veiled program of mass murder.

But have they fundamentally changed? Not a chance. A quick glance at their site turned up a "2025 Advocacy Highlights" page in which the "Healthcare access and affordability" section lauds increased insurance coverage for #ABA — "Applied Behavior Analysis". That's still their idea of how we should be dealt with.

@simon_brooke I swear, the fascists hate us (#autistics) the way they hate trans people. And the fascist "Labour" government of the #UK is hell-bent on mimicking #USA fascism. It isn't enough to hand out 30-month prison sentences for nonviolent protest. They have to mimic #BrainWormsJr and his crusade against #neurodivergence as well.

Will ANYONE who was not ALREADY an antivaxer believe a single word about #vaccines, #acetaminophen, or #autism from #SprayTanHitler, or from #BrainWormsJr and his handpicked kangaroo-court #ACIP? Or change a single decision they'll be making? I seriously doubt it.

This isn't about using authority to change people's minds. It's about using authority to declare open season on #autistics, on drug and vaccine makers, and on biomedical scientists who tell the truth on these topics. It's giving permission to use legal constraints AND illegal violence against all of these people. It's a writ of proscription.

@davidarnell @salixsericea @nedhamson1 @cdarwin I've heard (but not confirmed) that #BrainWormsJr has had HIS OWN kids vaccinated, even as he conducts a jihad against the vaccination of the general public. If true, this would be about the clearest confirmation possible that the point is to KILL all humans outside the elites.
