imagine you’re a “normal person,” raised in a world built by and for #Autistics and populated with almost all Autistics, with the “normal people,” marginalized out of sight. You’re a normal sort, with three digits of IQ, you fancy you can put two and two together and you can see the Autistics have all sorts of problems, and you lived a full human lifetime among them, read a lifetime’s worth of their books- here’s my question:

But what they're often picking up are unhealthy relationship dynamics.

Just because it's easier for them doesn't mean they're better (nicer/fairer/healthier) at it.

I didn't know the difference because my family of origin was the same - that's how it is for #Autistics - but my heart knew it, goddam I was lonely, who said it, you're never more lonely than with people around, they might have been one of us.

Communication problems aren't always because of us.

A lot of people are bad at communication. Not just #Autistics.

A lot of allistics are really bad at it too. And sometimes the communication breakdown is their fault.

It's not always us. (Even when they claim otherwise.)

So we are now unconditionally buying a house.
Is it me, or is two #autistics buying a house a recipe for disaster? We've not had so many fights in 1 week ever before. Holy hell, _everything_ is disagreeable.
