Riding to the train station is a great option for those who don't live within walking distance.
Especially now that West Footscray is part of the Metro Tunnel and has a vastly improved train service.
If only there was a safe bike connection to the 10,000s of people who live north of the station.

slamrday 7 on our ride to Copenhagen started with us smugly waiting for the ferry early, only to realize that there is no service till May 1st. so we ended up on a train hopping over the water and shaving 40kms off our ride which my legs needed after yesterday's battle with the wind. Wind was a manageable 20km/h today but often as a head wind. beautiful riding along the east coast of Sjealland Island protected from the norwester made for a very pleasant and unexpectedly quick day
