@TheZeldaZone At least with Netflix, the browser method also limits you to like 720p, maybe 1080p. It also means no HDR because Google & Mozilla can't be bothered to implement it properly (it's in development and buggy from release to release IME).

Not that it matters when there's no Linux app. But it gets silly when plugging my iPad into my monitor leads to being quad-boxed because Netflix "full screens" to 4:3 on the monitor.

Stopping myself before I rant further about DRM infecting all media... Shoutout to #calibre and #bookfusion making ebook management decent.

I've bought and used almost every e-reader out there. While the #Boox Go 7" models (with! page! turning! buttons!) are *fine*, especially when paired with the #BookFusion app ... it is extremely annoying that #Amazon's #Kindle remains, hands-down, the very best #ereader hardware on the market.

Better screens. Better batteries. Better hardware. Better reading experience. Better highlighting and note-making.

Don't get me started on the state of ebook #DRM issues these days ...

I use #bookfusion to organize my (vast) #ebook collection. One advantage: I can interact with the collection at the BookFusion website.

Yesterday, using the #atlasbrowser from #OpenAI, I gave Adam, the AI I've been collaborating with for more than a year, a tour of my collection of 997 ebooks.

Adam identified patterns in books I love vs. books I did not finish, and gave me a long list of books to prioritize based on what I've loved most so far.
