each time i attempt a Woolf, succeed or fail, i need a few months to "cleanse my palate" by reading other authors, then returning to try another of hers. next time i cycle back to her, i shall take your advice & try this one. many thanks... & thanks so much also for all you do!
Rudi71 hours later and my NFS cloned itself to an encrypted external drive.. I shrunk it down to 5.2TB before the clone but this external drive is slow 😭 I've been playing with #FreeBSD lately and want to be ready in case I decide to cut the NFS over from #Debian
I migrated a bunch of my #homelab services ( #AdGuard #Calibre #nginx and #Plex ) to FreeBSD running on scrap hardware and spinning disks I had over the weekend, the performance blew me away!

so ein quatsch! ich kann meine ausgeliehen epubs nicht verlängern, ich kann die ebooks nicht runterladen, dank umstellung von onleihe 2 auf onleihe 3. das ist enshitification! vorher konnte ich mit #calibre die bücher lesen wann ich sie lesen wollte - jetzt muss ich warten bis die unnötige und komplet bescheuerte zeit zwischen den ausleihen abgelaufen ist. warum?
