Next step for my Kindle is to be able to read the DRM-infected eBooks I purchased years ago before going back to physical books.

The AZW3s open with the legacy Kindle software, but KOReader doesn’t recognise them, and Calibre refuses to deal with them.

ich mag aber nicht auf ein Desktop Environment wechseln, habe ich eine Chance? Ansonsten halt kein Calibre.

Ich finde #Calibre ist eine schreckliche Software, aber leider schafft es #Audiobookshelf nicht, bei meinem Büchern den Fortschritt richtig zu speichern. Also schweren Herzens wieder zurück. 😞

Ich weiß kindl ist ungeil aber was nimmt man stattdessen?

Ich hätte gerne etwas das funktioniert und wo ich e-books von überall her drauf nutzen kann.

Ich habe zb einen Calibre-Webserver.

Seit meiner Teenagerzeit lese ich fast gar nicht mehr und würde das gerne ändern.

Cool wäre vllt wenn es einen Sync zum Hörbuch (Audiobookshelf) gäbe?!

I use Wallabag to save articles to read later, typically on my phone when I find spare moments. It works well, but it's not the most pleasant experience reading long-form on a phone.

After seeing a post from @benbrown showing his xteink e-reader, I picked one up hoping I could somehow use it to read my Wallabag saves. Turns out Calibre can subscribe to the "undread" RSS feed Wallabag exposes, and export them to the device.

Much better, I love this little thing!
