Today's question: Has Marriott Bonvoy been pwned?

Since the beginning of March, I've received two phishing emails addressed to an email account I use exclusively for my Marriott Bonvoy account.

I've never previously received spam on this address, even though I've been using it for *16 years* for this purpose, and this purpose alone. Not one spam in more than a decade and a half of having a Marriott account.

So was this just a lucky guess on the part of this spammer, or has Marriott Bonvoy been pwned?

Kudos to Marriott corporate for failing to successfully hide the fact *they are literally doing construction right outside guest rooms -- with people in them.*

As we rode the elevator up we told the woman who just checked in to make sure there was hot water tomorrow.
