1/2 On tapping into our inner wisdom and vitality…

“Rather than going after those walls and barriers with a sledgehammer, we pay attention to them. With gentleness and honesty, we move closer to those walls. We touch them and smell them and get to know them well. We begin a process of acknowledging our aversions and our cravings. We become familiar with the strategies and beliefs we use to build the walls: What are the stories I tell myself?

Prajna offers a treasure trove of wisdom from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition - with a vast collection of teachings and live events from prominent masters, through to today’s Western and Tibetan teachers.

We finally had a chance to watch #WakandaForever last night. Making this film must have been be so difficult for everyone involved. I think their presentation of different ways people deal with grief was well done. We may have feelings of loss, sorrow, rage, regret, despair, & helplessness, but we can make productive rather than destructive choices, compassionate choices, and allow life experiences to open our hearts instead of hardening them.

Escribe Alejandro Torrealba:

#Theravada #buddhism only represents a fraction of the #buddhist tradition. It does not contain the complete #hinayana philosophy, therefore is a mistake to reason (as many do) that Hinayana is the same as Thereavada. The main difference between Hinayana and #mahayana is the motivation to do the Buddhist practices. While the first focus mainly on individual self liberation from #samsara the second focus on #bodhichitta meaning service towards the liberation of all sentient beings.
