Every now and then I still get stuck here, trying to figure out why what I thought would work doesn't work. I used to feel embarrassed to be such a newbie.

It just occurred to me that the #BirdSiteMeltdown may be a #blessing in disguise, because my 67 year old brain gets to wrestle with a new environment.

Well, that was fast.

Tyrants fall by not taking advice from people with different skill sets than their own and imo this is what Musk is doing. #BirdsiteMeltdown
This (hopefully) will be my only Elon Musk rant here. He is a raging bigoted asshat with little concern for anyone but himself. He routinely insults LGBTQIA, Jewish people & others. Don’t buy his crap, get off of the bird site, stop working for him, etc. Why feed someone so vile? #BirdsiteMeltdown #LGBTQAI2SAlly #AntiJewishHate
Looks like the birdsite works perfectly today #BirdsiteMeltdown #TwitterEnding
Incredibly busy with work at present so not many #Toots from me, but I'm so glad to have left the #BirdsiteMeltdown behind now it seems Musk is allowing all of the rancid racist, mysoginistic loons back. I don't know about you folk but going cold turkey from Twitter has been a pull but I think it will be worth it in the long run as I'm feeling far more relaxed out of it already. 🙂👍

Quote from the Guardian article:

"More than 300,000 Americans have died from Covid-19... more than six times the number of Americans who died by gun violence in 2020."

Gun violence is so prevalent in the US that it's used as a measuring stick for the pandemic. Wow.
