I think I read here that inserting a hashtag in the middle of one's toot interferes with readers so I've begun placing them at the end. I also read that using so-called fancy fonts also interferes with readers. I'd like to know, if one encloses words in hyphens or asterisks to indicate emphasis, how do readers interpret those? Is there a way to indicate emphasis that doesn't interfere with readers?

Today new #sparkplugs, #coolant refresh and #oil change - had to jack up car and put ramps underneath other way round rather than drive on to them - bumper slightly fouls ramp ( #bladibarsket ).
