The Quebec government’s effort to transform English-language school boards into service centres, as it has done on the French side, is unconstitutional and violates the rights of the province’s English-speaking minority, the Superior Court ruled Wednesday.

Been involved in #labour law since the early 1990s and through many legislative changes and governments. I thought #unions were emboldened when the #Conservatives under Mike Harris were elected and passed #Bill 7 repealing the #NDP #Bill40..

But fast forward to today and Ford's about face on #Bil28 and CUPE's news conference with so many public and private sector union standing shoulder to shoulder.

A miscalculation of epic proportions.
