UPDATE: Had a very amicable conversation with the nice chap from #Barclays.

I said why I wasn’t happy to see Barclays here. He listened and will be adding it to their End of Day Summary for the bank.

#Activism doesn’t just have to consist of grand gestures, it can work at the (seemingly) smallest of levels and you never know what effect it might have.

Do what you feel able to…and perhaps a little bit more. ✊🏻

Fantastic #ClimateJusticeCoalition march in Newcastle upon Tyne today, a reminder that all the crises we face are intertwined and “their struggles are our struggles”.

As we marched up Northumberland Street, #ExtinctionRebellion paused to highlight that Barclays bank is Europe’s No.1 funder of fossil fuels and the 7th largest in the world.

Banking ethically is one of the most powerful things we can do as individuals.
