I feel like people need this reminder. Don't waste your time and effort on people who won't return it. True friendship or any relationship, really, is about give and take. Stop giving leeway to takers, find people who give you as much as they themselves receive.

I'm Senior Content Manager at #Medium and #editor of #BetterHumans.

I 💙 #pyrotechnics (a member of 3 #pyro clubs) and am a newbie #overlanding buff. This year (2023) I'm working on the build-out of a #FordRanger with an #OVRLNDCamper. I have a loosely held goal of driving to the Arctic Circle someday.

I was a #PeaceCorps volunteer in #Ghana, West Africa, where I worked with cashew farming families for two years, 2011-2013.
