#SheungYiu’s video essay 𝐼𝑡’𝑠 𝑎 𝐹𝑎𝑐𝑒-𝑒𝑎𝑡-𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑 investigates how synthetic faces replace the real and transform identities, tracing the cyclical evolution from #facialrecognition to synthetic facial data through #uncanny visuals of digital doubles traversing vast abstract landscapes.
