"Cold cases". Seems like the new series is focussing on historical hauntings, which is "meh". They're done to death and the legends always exceed the evidence.

Evelyn Hollow is still on it, which isn't great. Her credulity is an instant hole-below-the-water-line for any episode.

Totally sinks any credibility in an episode when we go from establishing the facts and jump tangentially to arbitrary folklore on the flimsiest of pretexts.
