I have wreck dived in #Malta four times now and still have never visited the #Bristol #Beaufighter. Succumb 17th March #80 years ago in 1943, she rests at some 39m off #Sliema. Let’s plan a #dive for our visit in #September huh?

10 November 1944: Royal Australian Air Force F/Lt Arthur Curlewis Young, DFC, of No. 5 Operational Training Unit, RAAF, missing when his Beaufighter, A19-194, collided with Beaufighter A19-36 during a training exercise and crashed into the sea off Evans Head, New South Wales.

F/Lt Young has no known grave and is now commemorated on the Sydney Memorial, New South Wales, Australia...
