A birthday #bash t'was meant to be,
With fun, joy and jollity.

But soured notes ruined the melody
of the calm and peace 'tween thee and me.

There was no choice that I could see,
Save I #bash you, and you #bash me.

Yet from violence we remained free
for we both knew what a waste it would be.

So for all time and posterity
I #bashed this out for all to see.
