In praise of the #copying: this #sketch from #rembrandt seems to be no big News. But they horizon of the picture, i.e. our viewpoint is the height of the saint eyes and Just the beniing the feet of the small Jesus-Child. We look up, too.

In praise of the copying: the daily Rembrandt-Copy, although only 10-15 minutes long Always reveals something you haven't seen before. Here it is the shadow in the left bottom who washes Out hirizontally and thereby establishing a floor and foreground for the two personas in the center.
