Yesterday we were in #Sardinia and took a trip to see the Barumini #nuraghe, a Bronze Age settlement unlike anything we've seen before. The site felt almost organic with a central core reached through very steep, very uneven, very narrow passageways, and the growth of rooms and corridors outwards sprawling like something grown for insects. Fantastic, but not for the claustrophobic.
