Banks foreclosed on over five million houses during the recession that their unsustainable loan practices caused in 2008. Many with perfect payment history lost their homes, and their credit was destroyed in the process, leaving them unemployable following the mass layoffs. Now, companies begin charging subscription fees for features that came with items customers bought and own, while our government dismantles the agency created to protect consumers from dirty business practices after the bank crash, and CEOs go on record saying we need a surge in unemployment to put workers in their place and remind us we exist to serve, not to live a balanced life. So yeah, it's easy to see corporations are the victims, and we should put all our trust in them.
