Today Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania fully disconnect from Russian and Belarussian electricity grids and join the Continental Europe Network via Poland.
They are now fully integrated into the EU internal energy market.

CEF Energy has supported the project with more than EUR 1,2 billion over 10 years to conduct studies, build infrastructure and install IT equipment.

This is a flagship EU-backed infrastructure project that will allow the 3 EU Member States to move away from energy dependence on Russia and benefit fully from the European common energy system.
The EC 🇪🇺 has appointed expert Catharina Sikow-Magny as European Coordinator for the #BalticSynchronisation projects of common interest, the project to fully integrate Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 into the continental EU electricity network.
