The Künstlerhaus (artists' residence) Schloss Balmoral in Bad Ems (on the Lahn River, Rhineland-Palatinate) is an institution for the promotion of visual artists. The building is a three-storey villa in late classicist style and was built in 1867/68 as a residence for a Russian landowner.

The former Hotel Guttenberg Bad Ems on the Lahn River (Rhineland-Palatinate) was built in 1900/01 and is one example of numerous impressive buildings from the time when the town was still a meeting place for celebrities.

The Russian Orthodox Church in Bad Ems an der Lahn (Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate) still recalls the former Russian spa guests, including Tsar Alexander II, Dostoevsky, Gogol, Turgenev, and many others.
