I guess this is the Apple mid-2011 version of the infamous Blue Screen of Death. My desktop blipped off mid-YouTube video, and appears to have bitten the dust after a mere 14 years. It’s not really a big old tragedy, but it is inconvenient.
Don't mine #shitcoin|s like #Bitcoin
or #Ethereum ...
Get the real deal: #Monero

But most importantly: #BackupYourShit!

So this is your reminder to BACKUP YOUR SHIT!
My faithful NAS of 7+ years has been treating me so well, but it didn't. Luckily I was able to save very important stuff like family pictures, my photographs, documents, etc etc
But lost 12TB of movies, tv shows, and a music collection i've maintained since the invention of mp3s (12,000+). All good.
You know what's fun about a power surge destroying your main OS drive, so you decide it's time to finally try to install Arch because why not? (obligatory "I use Arch" as is tradition)
Finally plugging in the second SSD you didn't want to accidentally format and finding out the power surge killed that one too.
All hail the backups on the NAS.
Considering getting a tape backup drive and a rental mailbox so I can just mail tapes to "myself" for offsite storage.
