We use a #sterilizer for our #daughter #babybottles . Once sterilized, can be used in 24 hours, otherwise must be sterilized again, as per OMS guidelines.
We always forget when the bottles have been sterilized, so I connected the sterilizer to a #smartplug that can monitor power and created an homeassistant sensor based on the power usage, so we know when the last sterilization run has finished! Spouse-approved!
I have been wondering if #BPA - now widely used in #plastic #babybottles - may have been having effects on the #gender #expression of #children This article suggests that seems to be the case. It also notes that the effects of BPA on gene expressions in animals get passed down to #future #generations
