Im September hat der #BPD2023 stattgefunden und wir haben u.a. hier um Feedback gebeten. Vielen Dank an alle, die teilgenommen haben. Einige haben abgestimmt, dass sie leider nicht an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen konnten. Die gute Neuigkeit: es geht 2024 weiter, und dann hoffentlich mit einem passenderen Termin für den Best Practice Day.

Emacs with orgmode vs. $other_markdown

Still a bit overwhelmed after the presentation by @lukascbossert - still haven't grasped the vast complexity of things you can do with emacs and what this would mean for workflows, collaboration (with non-tech-affine ppl. 🙃 ), etc. - but definitely pretty cool!

This is one I know: Charlie Pauvert is talking about "Bacterial genomes data and metadata managmeent with Coscine". This is a very nice example how data can be stored #FAIR|ly and reused for further things. A nice contribution also in connection with @NFDI4Microbiota
