Amazing that the #West-#Eastern #Divan #Orchestra is still functioning and coming to the #BBC #Proms. It must be very difficult to hold the #Palestinian and #Israeli #musicians together. A tribute to those who keep the dialog going.

Extremely peculiar to hear #BBCR3 morning news cheerfully trail #Putin 's live TV q&a. Why does informing the British public extend to free marketing for warmongering dictators anxious to polish up their image ahead of national elections?

@crackles @neilhimself All the #BBCR3 11pm (or 11.30) slots are a good listen. Sunday's New Music Show can be a bit bonkers but I persevere out of bemused curiosity.

There are many many versions of #AChristmasCarol out there. But this is my absolute all time favourite, a #BBCR3 + #BBCR4 co-production that has lush music, incredible singing (#CityOfIron) and a brilliant acting cast.
Somehow manages to bring #London of the 1840s to life...
