Francois DionSome other features of the Fujica AX3. One trick that is quite handy is to press the film rewind button (underneat) and then to arm the shutter and make multiple exposures. This trick also works on the Topcon IC-1.

Technically, Fuji stated that the AX3 had 3 AE modes plus manual:
1- Aperture priority
2- Stepped-down AE
3- Electronic Flash AE
4- Fully metered manual
To me 1,2 and 3 are really the same, but just so you know they are supported.
Pausing on the Topcon cameras, next I'm taking out for a spin is a 1980 Fujica AX3. It has a very fast 50mm on it right now. It is a X-Fujinon EBC 50mm f1.2 branded as Porst. The beauty ring is the only difference.
This camera is full manual or aperture priority. The shutter speed is indicated by LED in the viewfinder. It requires a 4LR44 battery to function. The shutter won't fire without one and the switch to on.
