@jhaue There don’t appear to be many Universities that have not been corrupted.

Poisoning the minds of the young with scholarships, grants, linkage grants, sponsored research centres and the fully owned institutes for fossil fuel partnerships.

There’s no research on a dead planet.

@neenish_tart We need to give money to public schools instead of private ones. Do they have staff shortages?

Would pay rises encourage more people into the profession?

Oh look!
"Administrative paperwork", got noticed by the bureaucracy.

From the article:
" In a December 2022 review, the Productivity Commission noted “low value” administrative tasks meant teachers were not spending enough time teaching."

Anyone got a teacher handy to ask how long they've been overburdened by excess admin paperwork?

(Maybe don't mention Dec 2022 when you ask them. Accidents happen.)

If we lived in a country genuinely concerned about equality of opportunity and high quality education (we don't) the ACCC would be all over this & the Productivity Commission would be doing more than a Report on Government Services.
