RIP #AudreyFlack, a fascinating, varied artist who did a lot of things in her long career.

This print by her, "Macarena Esperanza," is on view a little longer in our galleries. She made it for a portfolio of prints published as part of Documenta 5 (which our museum bought in 1974). Former curator of paintings Donald Keyes wrote that it "establishes a tension between the forms as real objects and as abstract patterns."
