Doreyplush is my favorite plushie I own. He's based on one of my mates and is soooo soft and nicely weighted. He's a blue dragon, with wine-red accents for the wings, center row of soft spines, and insides of the ears. I love snuggling him. I *highly* recommend weighted plushies, it's an experience like no other!

Yay, we have another Jellycat stuffie friend to add to our cuddly collection. She's a chameleon, she likes spy films, mystery, bright colours and snacks. She is easily startled and does not like fireworks nor horror films. Her name is Iris.

Close up view of some of the repairs. This is not the type of work I normally would do, but I’m pretty chuffed at how well he turned out! Whole job took just shy of 5.5 hours, mostly by hand.

Special project that’s been on my work table this week. Client (40 something), and former employee of mine has had this Curious George since she was 3. A few weeks ago, her puppy managed to get ahold of a table runner* next to his kennel, and poor George fell off said table close enough that he was within chewing distance. By the time A. saw what happened, George was in a bad way.

Her mom attempted some repairs but decided it was outside her ability, so she texted me.

I had to replace about half of the back of his shirt, and use all the bits to mend the sleeves, hand sewing in patches as needed.

*correction George was actually on a higher cabinet, well above the pup’s kennel. Pup managed to knock him of by pawing at a cord.
