We've had Arq Backup operating here at Dismal Manor for several days as a diverse local and off-site backup service. The product looks solid. A solo practitioner develops and operates Arq Backup which is cross platform for Windows and MacOS.

Save Sets are compressed so data at the cloud provider is less than the data on disk. Also, Arg Backup is savvy to skip ephemeral files and there is a checkbox to skip the same stuff Time Machine skips.
