So we've been having a lot of trouble at work over the last few weeks, with some of our colleagues, customers and users in the Philippines, South-East Asia and Japan having trouble reaching our systems (in Norway). Turns out Arelion - AS1299 - are having problems. So here you go, a PSA for you networking people out there; this is what we got from them when reaching out:

We regret to inform you of the current disruption in service due to multiple backbone link outages caused by subsea cable faults. As a result, connectivity may be impacted across various regions effecting our Intra-Asia & Europe-Asia Links.

Here is the breakdown of the affected routes and their estimated time of repair (ETR):

Marseille to Singapore: Multiple links are still impacted, with updated ETRs on 7th June 25th June and 7th July.
Marseille to Hong Kong: ETR is set 25th June
Osaka to Singapore: ETR is set on 15th June
Tokyo to Singapore: No ETR available at the moment
Tokyo to Hong Kong: Two links are affected. ETR for one of the links is 15th June and for the other link no ETR yet
