So, amongst family photos I'm scanning, I found three photos with "Frenchburg" written on back. A mystery to the family. I hunted online, AND found an #ArchitecturalHistorian in Kentucky who had recently blogged re what I now know is a school. I immediately recognized the abandoned building in her blog! Hi everyone! I know there's a lot of new Mastodon accounts out there 👋 so here's another #Introduction post.

I'm an #ArchitecturalHistorian teaching the history of architecture and art at #CommunityColleges in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm also very active in the Society of Architectural Historian (I know our members are on here somewhere 😉 ) and love writing about architecture when I have the chance.

Hello! I’m an #architecturalhistorian interested particularly in modern and contemporary religious architecture and in #historicpreservation. I’m a #phd student at UC Santa Barbara. I also translate from German to English and write about buildings and cities. In a previous life I worked as a #landscape designer.
@tobiasbusch here’s my handle > @cecrawford I’m a trained #architect, now #architecturalhistorian who studies #socialistspace #housing and loads of other topics. I love #tractors, and ended up knowing more about them than I ever though possible while researching my last book.
