#AmyRemeikis Truth to Power once again. Nothing Amy talks about shocks me or anyone else having a second look at our current curcumstances, but she bring clarity to what I think is the public mood of the day. We’re not just angry about our major political parties’ drift to the right and lack of gumption, we’re also disheartened that we’re in ‘more of the same’ circumstances, nothing is moving forward. Successive govts have been about as progressive as an extinct dodo. Political change is all just a hopeless shift to the same #neoliberal nonsense that keeps us all in the same quagmire, up to our necks in the swamp with seemingly no way out of it.

Major parties, PHON and IND (I’m of two mind about the Greens — wishful thinking?) are political minnows content to make ripples in puddles when what we really need is a tsunami in the lake.
