SK is ham radio-speak for "silent key" and is often used as a euphemism for death. E.g. "Bob is a silent key now."
QRM is a ham radio "Q code"that stands for noise or interference.
Altogether it means "death to all sources of interference for working people", a ham radio specific take on the Makhnovist flag which read "Death to all those who stand in the way of freedom for working people."
So I've been getting ready for Amateur Radio Field Day. This will be my first one.
Field Day is when hams go outside, to their back yards, parks, picnics, camp outs mountain tops, or wherever that's *not* their normal base of operations to simulate working in sub-optimal conditions as a sort of practice for emergency response.
If I can swing it, I plan on carrying all my comms gear in one bag, plus that briefcase solar panel from a few weeks ago, and operating entirely off solar power at a park table or something.
Blackblogs.org appears to have shit the bed and I am very sleepy.
