Sa quête d’ingrédients, accompagnée de son ami Saeed, bouleverse son quotidien. À travers le regard d’une fillette, le film raconte l’enfance confrontée à l’absurdité de la propagande, à la brutalité du totalitarisme et d’une société fracturée. Une fable initiatique savoureuse et grave qui évite le misérabilisme ; un film de grands à voir en famille !
