@benoit Make sure you run a very recent kernel with Ryzen AI because the #amdgpu driver had rare but nasty crashes with compute workloads.

Also, the Mediatek WiFi and Bluetooth is crap. I had packaet drops with WiFi at 2.4GHz (my only option for the hotspot) and Bluetooth stopped working in #Linux 7.1-rc3. Yes, it's an RC kernel, but they asked to backport the bogus patch to stable kernels too. Not sure if it made it there already.

Anyway, sloppy maintainers are sloppy.

while playing with the the fan controls of my GPU in sysfs I found that setting `fan1_target` to `fan1_max` results in `sensors` reporting a PWM value of 128% πŸ€”

That doesn't sound right - how can a PWM signal exceed "on ALL of the time"?

Β»#Valve could secretly "encourage" that open source developer's work.Β«

Just got home and ran an apt upgrade to bring my main system (Debian ftw) to Linux 7.x... everything’s running fine, even my AI stack survived the upgrade.

Update: just tested it. Dirty Frag is fixed too!!!
