Teacher wage increases: offering 12% over 3 years is pathetic, because teachers are already so far behind.

Wage increases for teachers since 2013:
0%, 0%, 2%, 0%, 0%, 0%, 0%, 0.5%, 1.25% and 2%
… for a total of 5.87% over 10 years.
Meanwhile inflation for that time was over 30%

Everything you will hear from the government is misleading spin, including how impoverished the province is. They’ve squandered billions in surpluses rather then setting it aside to fund important things like health and education.
