#MaryPeltola is the first Alaska Native in Congress, first woman to represent AK in the House, and the first Democratic representative from AK since 1973.
Today, however, her legacy will be fighting hard for the profits of ConocoPhillips at the expense of future generations.
Make no mistake, #WillowProject was a divisive issue among Alaskans and Alaska Natives; Peltola does not have social license from her constituents for her activism on behalf of Conoco.
