Pyramidal Bugle (Ajuga pyramidalis, Pyramiden-Günsel) supports insect diversity in mountain meadows and open woodlands. I have acquired nearly all the materials needed to build a green roof bin shed at the weekend. Rather than splash out on sedum turf, I am raising my own and adding thyme and oregano to the mix.
