트잉여의 게시물들에 대해
트잉여는 서비스 제공 회사가 직접 구축한 릴레이 서버에만 가입되어 있고, 나는 그 릴레이를 이용하지 않는다.
생각 보다 많은 영향력을 끼칠 수 있는 이용자가 트잉여 가입률이 높은 편 같다.
그런데 며칠 전에 내 서버에는 영향력 있는 이용자 게시물이 생각 보다 꽤나 매우 많이 들어오지 않음을 깨달았다. 서버는 반 년간 트잉여 게시물의 대부분을 인지하지 못하고 있었다.
릴레이가 매우 유의미함은 알고 있었지만, 같은 언어권 내 상호작용이 일어나는데도 대부분의 이용자가 암흑이라니.

Falls ihr euch wundert, warum hier auf https://digitalcourage.social in der föderierten Timeline plötzlich mehr los ist: Das liegt daran, dass diese Instanz seit heute 20:30 Uhr an ein ActivityPub-Relay angeschlossen ist. Genau wie https://bewegung.social (siehe auch die Ankündigung unter dem Megaphon-Symbol).

Auch die Suche dürfte jetzt ergiebiger sein, obwohl sie nach wie vor nur Hashtags und Accounts findet.

Das Relay wird betrieben von einer Gemeinschaft deutschsprachiger Fediverse-Admins (bisher überwiegend Mastodon): https://fedimins.net/

Welche Instanzen sich ins Relay eingeklinkt haben, seht ihr hier: https://relay.fedimins.net/

Die Idee ist, dadurch Reichweite und Diversität aller angeschlossenen Instanzen zu erhöhen.

@SocialistStan @lauren @Shachihoko @HistoPol @eff @team Even if they try to ban instances from doing that, #ActivityPub relays work and there's no reason instances can't be moved to #Tor, #I2P or other #AnonymizationNetworks & #mixnets

You could also add full #AsynchronousCommunication support to relays including #sneakernet

Are there any #Tor or #I2P-supporting #ActivityPub relays at the current time?

Presumably if they don't assume too much about endpoints & the nature of the transport, it could work with any off-the-shelf relay that supports proxying, but I'm not sure if they're implemented in such a way.

Uptime and availability is not guaranteed, but the intention is to be a stable and reliable relay.
