I spent an hour researching links for a toot. It took this long because #academic institutes, in reaction to real threats and attacks, are blocking all forms of #OnlinePrivacy / #privacy protection measures.

In particular, #university | #academia #IT #security is targeting everything on #TOR - including #TORBrowser - and everything #VPN. Most journal #publishers block anything limiting js, trackers, advertising.
