Very bad practice by #Google these days 😠 - Announced a mandatory #update for #Pixel4a which effectively breaks battery lifetime to only a few hours. Replacement options seem limited to original owners. It has been a great #Smartphone for years and was one of the few #SmallAndroidPhones left on the market, even for small budget.

Can someone share more background or alternative solutions? Is this a safety measure or planned #absolescence at its best? @ericmigi 🙄?
