19.04.2025 Have you ever learned something about yourself from your characters?

I'm seemingly not the nicest person around if I imagine what I do to my characters, I love good body horror or psychological horror but hate the movie Genre of Horror because it's mostly only a gore and splatter party for people that enjoy visceral pornography...

629 How did you break into publishing? (If you’re already published, of course.)

Actually I never really did.
Well there was this little tiny side project I made while I was in a "Arbeitsqualifizierungsmaßnahme."* 15 years ago. Before my name change. It was a very bleak child book about how the company running that workshop helped people to get back into the "erster Arbeitsmarkt"**
They heavily edited it and it had a print run of 500 pieces, I had a copy for myself but it was to raise money for a fond to help other unemployed people ment as a free give away.
So yeah never really got something out and my copy vanished after my big break up with my fiance in which I lost a lot of money and other stuff

2/2 ago, a Star Trek ff & a Mass Effect fanfiction, but it grew bigger & bigger & started to take on a life of its own.

My creative endeavors, at different parts, included painting (caricatures & scenery) with pencils & everything that could bring paint somewhere (silk painting a.a.E.),
Modellkit building (comes up occasionally),
photography, clothing design,
digital painting (recently reactivated),
finding usable glitches in Open world games to circumvent soft locks or break boundaries with only in-game methods,
build trading card decks around not seriously playable topics (Magic t.G., Stat Trek CCG, One Piece) & creating maniaclevel buildings & digital tiny homes in Videogames especially Fallout 4 & 76.

Writing always was part of this creative chaos & I would call my self a trans*humanist, I am a diabetic type 1 for my whole life & have depressions which at times fuels my creativety.
I guess thats it.😅

#ScribesAndMakers 15.02.2025 Tell us about yourself and your creative work.
1/2
Not sure how long I can keep this up, because my limit is usually 3 prompt 'games' so my stay on this might be short lived.

Well I am Anna Saultron. A soon 40ish year old, low tech cyborg of sorts (applying the term very broadly a lot of people are) & you can read my bio for a mixture of story & reality how I came to be. I'm a gamer, creative agent of chaos & a jerk of many traits (like a Jack of many traits but I rarely train my other creative Hobbys so I call myself a jerk for not using them properly).

My name is an alias I use for a lot of stuff like my gaming accounts or my barely feed non edit YouTube stuff & pretty much my go to name by now.

I only started writing again thanks to the writing prompts here & my writing contains backstories for my Pen and Paper characters. Roleplay quests/stories, atm I work mostly on Star Ryde a SciFi Multiverse that started as two projects long ...

576. Have you ever wanted to quit writing?

Yes and I did because I have a terrible resistance against back lashes.

#PennedPossibilities 576 #writing #AboutMeIGuess

562. Do you have a writing routine?

Not at all but that's a recurring theme in my live and trust me you wouldn't have me routined...

I could make up a mystical writing ritual like taking Alphabet Noodles counting every letter in it and than take the fitting amount of letters for a general German or English text, cook it, drain the water and slap the finished noodles onto a plate calling it a text, but than I would only be a LNSM a large noodle slap machine.

554. How do you stay motivated to write?

Guilt because I promised to work on my book otherwise I have no form of motivation I have noticed.
It's more that I want it so I do it which is not very helpful for a consistent schedule to be honest.😅

*side eyes to her current word count this month and last month.*

450. What originally got you interested in writing?

I always was a storytelling Person. I'm that kind of person which eyes light up if they can tell you a story.
I always loved reading and early in my brain started producing its own "what if" scenarios.

I'm a sucker for stories and I could consume dozens in hours, was reading champion in my school mostly through the fact that at reading nights I red my books even while eating - drinking until I fell asleep. Without fictional worlds I wouldn't be who I am today because

I had to fight against a whole system of unfair distributed problems of my family, mobbing as a 1st grader til I entered job education, being struck with type 1 Diabetes since my 2. Year of life.

Stories kept me sane, my own (as a teen) & the stories of others. Especially Star Trek & Terry Pratchetts works. I hope by writing I can give something back something that others can enjoy.

440. What are your current writing goals?

1. Finding a way for me to work productive on my World(s).

2. Writing the first chapter for Star Ryde hopefully all 12 more planned too. I will skip the challenge of Nano because with an Large LLM behind it I don't like the though of this. Bin the less I will try to finish the first chapter at least without sharing it online...

3. Finding out who am I as a writing person.

4. Reignforests. It's a stupid joke in German Weltherrschaft means World domination/reign the world Waldherrschaft sounds close but means Reign over the forests. I combine the two words to make it sound like Rainforest.

5. Releasing my work somehow/Profit??

6. Take Galaxy Glyde to a level where I can at least be thrown into the Internet.

7. Follow some of my many weird ideas like Cube world (basically 6 Discworlf discs slapped together)

14.09.2024 Did you like to tell stories as a child?

A clear NES or YO it works better in German with Jain instead of Ja or Nein.
I loved making stuff up in my head making "fanfiction" in my head. How I would be cured in the future from my Diabetes and that others wouldn't exclude me so much because of that... I didn't like to share this thoughts.

I always had a creative side, I build a milk bubbler out of Lego Technic before milk foam was a thing people put on their coffee outside extremely fancy restaurants. I build a Lego catapult to push the power button on the TV... Created my own Space ship's from Lego as puberty hit I started to share my thoughts mostly as poems and than I stumbled onto Roleplay Games.

The first thoughts of my own Star Trek Fanfictions are to a part still part of my current WIP even if it more resembles Mass Effect in its current form.
